Nisshin Seifun Group Inc. and its Group companies* recognize their responsibility in accurately maintaining and safeguarding the personal information (names, DOBs, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and other such identifying information, as well as information containing individual identification codes) of individual customers, partners, stockholders and so forth which they handle. In order to fulfill this responsibility, personal information is handled in accordance with the following policies.

*This privacy policy is a basic policy shared by Nisshin Seifun Group Inc. and its Group companies for the protection of personal information. For the purpose of this privacy policy, "Group company" refers to domestic subsidiaries of Nisshin Seifun Group Inc. Nisshin Seifun Group Inc. and said Group companies may also be referred to in general as the Group/Nisshin Seifun Group.

1. The Group shall appropriately handle personal information, in compliance with laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal information.
2. Officers, employees, etc. shall be thoroughly informed of laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal information, as well as rules, etc. regarding handling of personal information. Additionally, when personal information is entrusted to others, necessary and appropriate management and oversight of entrustees in regards to the handling of such information shall be carried out.
3. Nisshin Seifun Group Inc. and its Group companies may use personal information for the following purposes. When using information for other purposes, the Group shall separately define the purpose of use, shall personally or publicly notify the persons involved of the purpose of use when collecting personal information, and shall use said information within that scope of use.
   1. ①Personal information of persons applying for events, campaigns, etc.
      Information may be used for raffles, to send prizes, to reconfirm addresses when unable to deliver prizes, to contact applicants, to implement the relevant events/campaigns, etc.
   2. ②Personal information of persons using various member services
      Information may be used to provide goods and services or to operate and manage relevant services.
   3. ③Personal information of persons contacting Group (via customer consultation centers, etc.)
      Information may be used to contact persons involved, to confirm identity, to confirm the content of inquiries, to address the substance of inquiries, etc.
   4. ④Personal information of persons visiting or utilizing Group facilities (plants, Seifun Museum, etc.)
      Information may be used to contact persons, to confirm reservations, to provide goods and services, to address inquiries, etc.
   5. ⑤Personal information of partners (includes persons entering personal information on Nisshin Seifun Group websites for the purpose of invoicing, etc., potential clients such as newsletter subscribers, etc.; the same shall apply hereinafter)
      Information my be used to contact persons for business/transaction purposes (to inform of arrival of purchased goods, materials and samples, to provide business information, etc.), to carry out questionnaires to improve services or otherwise gather feedback, and to ensure smooth transactions.
   6. ⑥Personal information of shareholders
      Information may be used to contact shareholders, provide information, send preferential goods or otherwise manage shareholders as prescribed in the Companies Act, etc.
   7. ⑦Personal information of internship/job applicants
      Information may be used to contact applicants in regards to internship and job applications (for both new graduate and mid-career applicants), to inform applicants of decisions, to carry out questionnaires of applicants, to grasp/manage conditions related to internship and job applications, to share information for applicants to Nisshin Seifun Group internship/job postings, and to allow Nisshin Seifun Group Inc. to grasp/manage conditions related to internship/job applications at individual Group companies.
      If contents of the "Privacy Policy for Internship and New Graduate Job Applications" （http://nisshin-recruit.com/privacy/） apply to private information acquired in relation to internship and new graduate applicants, that content shall take precedence as relevant.
   1. ※１ The information described in ① - ⑤, above, may also be used to develop, furnish, or provide information on the comprehensive products and services of Nisshin Seifun Group companies or the Group as a whole, to improve products and services, to provide after-service, to inform of campaigns or monitor recruitment/events, to carry out questionnaires in relation to products and services, and in the management and internal controls of Nisshin Seifun Group companies or the Group as a whole such as for the arrangement of compliance systems and management of various risks. Additionally, non-identifying statistical information may also be used for marketing purposes, etc.
   2. ※２ The above information may also be used in the execution of legal rights, and in compliance with legal duties and requests (including reporting to domestic and overseas regulators, judiciary, administrative organs, stock exchanges, etc., and in responding to audits by said persons). Additionally, information may be used for statistical analysis after redacting identifying information.
4. Necessary security measures and appropriate best management shall be implemented to prevent leak, loss, falsification, etc. of personal information.
5. Personal information shall not be shared with third parties without the person's permission unless under exception by law.
6. Regarding personal information held by the Group, when requests are received for notification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, destruction or suspension of provision to third parties, such requests shall be handled appropriately and in good faith.

7. The Nisshin Seifun Group may change all or a portion of this privacy policy. In the event of such a change, legally required steps, such as posting notice of the change on the Nisshin Seifun Group website, shall be taken.
8. Regarding joint use of personal data
   In regards to the following types of information, Nisshin Seifun Group Inc. and its Group companies may make joint use of personal data collected by individual Group companies.
