Initiatives of NBC Meshtec that contribute to achieving the SDGs

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the common goals for the international community to be achieved by 2030, as stated in 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted at the UN Summit in September 2015.
The Agenda lists 17 goals and 169 targets for realizing a sustainable world.
We at NBC Meshtec are endeavoring to address these goals through our business activities.

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts*

Our Yamanashi Tsuru Factory has introduced a carbon free menu.
At the Shizuoka Kikugawa Factory and NBC Metalmesh, photovoltaic power generation has been introduced and covers a portion of their electric power consumption.
Our meshes are used as components of equipment for generating hydrogen, which is expected to be a next generation energy.
Our mesh cloths are used for electrode printing on solar panels.

Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all

Our mesh cloths are used as supports for ion exchange membranes, which convert seawater into potable water.
