SF is an abbreviation for "synthetic fiber," which is a fiber made artificially through a chemical process using mainly petroleum as a raw material. NBC Meshtec offers polyester (PET), nylon (polyamide, PA), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), etc. as general-purpose synthetic fibers.
High-performance synthetic fibers are materials with superior strength, heat resistance, and chemical resistance compared to general-purpose synthetic fibers. Features
- High-performance mesh made of thermoplastic, fully aromatic polyester threads that exhibit melt liquid crystallinity, which is a highly functional material

Excellent heat resistance makes it resistant to expansion and contraction as well as to color change at high temperatures.
Heat resistance test
Crosshairs were drawn vertically and horizontally in the center of the mesh cloth (10 cm square) of each material, and the length of the crosshairs was measured before and after heating.
Drying oven temperature: 200°C
Time: 30 minutes
